for those that don't know my ‘insert philosophy’ - I am creating modular inserts that are focused on reducing setup and space on table, filament consumption is not my highest priority, but of course I'm trying to save some material where I can.

Update 25.10.2024 - version 2.0:

• major redesign, all files replaced with new ones. Old files are in Version 1 folder,
• 19 models resulting in 32 parts (39 including card dividers) in old design vs 14 models resulting in 29 parts. Insert simplified a bit, teardown should be a lot easier and faster,
• around 1937g on my current settings needed for 1st version vs 1637g for 2nd version. 300g lighter! It's a lot!
• I combined few holders into setup holder,
• I extracted encounter cards into separate holder, so it can be taken out and placed on the board,
• Faction holders are now stored vertically, thanks to that this is only 2 level insert (well, more like 1.5), you don't need to take anything unnecessary out of the box to get to other components,
• there are now 2 holders with 2 compartments for coins and resources, so you can divide resources and coins equally between these holders and place them on the opposite ends of the table.

Important Notes:

• It holds without lid lift either Complete Rulebook or separate rulebooks, it won't hold both (without a lid lift),
• I'm not sure if Metal Mechs will fit, probably no.

Supports:

• vertical storage,
• sleeves - 70 micron (even sleeves on cardboard tiles),
• The Rise of Fenris expansion,
• The Wind Gambit expansion,
• Invaders from Afar expansion,
• Encouters deck expansion,
• all Encouter Card promos 29-42,
• all Objective Card promos 24-27,
• all Factory Card promos 13-18,
• Modular Board expansion,
• Complete Rulebook,
• deluxe resources,
• metal coins. 

This insert features:

• 9 faction holders - one for each faction. It holds everything related to the faction (except modular board base tiles). There is a lot of space in it, so maybe it will also fit for example custom buildings. I doubt that it will fit metal mechs, but who knows…, 
• 2 coins, resources holder - each with 2 compartments, so you can divide resources and coins equally and place both holders on the table,
• combat cards holder - you can just take it out and put it on the board, it has a space for discarded tokens and space for encounter tokens,
• setup fenris holder - for almost everything related to fenris campaign (except alliance tokens - they're stored inside faction holders),
• setup holder - for components needed during the setup.

Requirements:

• about 1637g of filament (depends on your settings, I printed with 15% gyroid infill, 2 walls, 5 top and 3 bottom layers).
• at least 240mm x 166mm print bed (I think you could rotate Cards_Combat_Encounter_Tokens_Holder 45deg to lower this requirement a bit).

Instructions:

Supports - no supports required.

• every file ended with xX (for example x16) - print X times (in given example - 16 times),
• refer to pictures how to organize the box,
• spacers, cards dividers - if there are any in this insert - I printed them with 4 walls, no top, bottom, honeycomb infill.
• joints - if there are any joints in this insert - you will need to slowly put one joint over the hole in the second part for it, second under, third over and so on. You don't need to use glue here, although it will strengthen the part a bit (I didn't).

What future holds:

• I think this insert is done, I doubt that I will ever get metal mechs, but if I do then maybe I will try to fit them.
