Ikea Alex Organizer Trays

I made these organizer trays for the Ikea Alex drawer since most found from MakerWorld were either too small or too big for my liking. To fill fully a drawer you need to print 3 small, 2 medium and 1 big tray.

 

There are 2 ways that I have printed these trays. One with topmost layer in different color than the rest to give the boxes a nice border. And the second with solid colors to minimize waste! 

 

If you want the top layer / border to be a different color from the rest of the tray and you don't want to waste time/material you can paint the top most layer with a sharpie. (as suggested by @MaxSVK) Look down from comments to see the outcome! 

 

The biggest tray can be used inside the drawer as is, or you can use a little glue to attach the halves together. I used ca glue with activator spray.

 

Dimensions (w x l x h):

Small: 97,7 x 97,7 x 50,4 mm

Medium: 146,5 x 212,7 x 50,4 mm

Big: 212,7 x 293 (length for printing: 146,5 mm) x 50,4 mm
