Suspended Christmas Tree (inkl. Ornament Version)

Especially for the holiday season, I created a new variation of my popular suspended heart piece .
It comes in two version: a stand-alone decorative piece and a ornament with a hanger for your christmas tree. Like my previous “suspended” models it uses overhanging bridges (printed on the side) to create the illusion of a three-dimensional tree suspended by fragile strings.

This model prints without supports in about 2 hours, 0.2mm layer height and wall generator set to Arachne in Bambu Studio. I also activated “Thick bridges” and “Detect Thin Walls” in the slice settings.

I used Bambu PLA Matte green and PLA Basic white, which did a good job for the many thin string overhangs.

I added a dual color print profile (where the strings can be set to a different color, you can even do the 15 color changes manually without AMS) and a simple single color version.
