Description
(imported from Printables)
This is a mounting board for a Raspberry Pi that locates it on the rear of the gantry tower.
This was originally designed for my own personal use back in 2018, around the same time as I made and published my camera arm, but this itself was never published. The somewhat odd positioning was specifically for a right angle USB cable that I use with this machine, and in my time using this it hasn't had any issues with getting caught on parts being printed.
To print this, you will need:
Install the Raspberry Pi first on the board, with the SD card facing up. Remove the top two stock screws on the top of the gantry tower on the back. Use the M3 screws to attach the mount where those screws used to be, and you should be done.
This is the USB cable I use with this. It's just long enough to curl under the filament spool and connect to the USB port, which looks quite nice if I'd say so myself.
