Description
This is my version of the many available fidget rings. I wanted a much slimmer version than what I found so far. It was originally designed for 0.2 nozzle but I have now managed to create a print profile that works with a 0.4 mm nozzle as well. The print will not be as clean as with a 0.2 mm nozzle but it will still work.
Design
The ring is made out of two convex rings with a 0.27 gap in between them to be able to rotate the outer ring. It will require a “breaking in” period before it starts to rotate smoothly. For an even smoother rotation, add some silicon spray or similar in between the gap.
Print instructions
I have added 17 different ring sizes to the profiles ranging from 16-24 mm. Measure/estimate your finger size and print the corresponding ring size. Let me know in the comments if additional sizes is needed as simply scaling the model will change the gap between the rings.
0.4 mm nozzle
I have managed to print the ring with the added 0.4 mm nozzle profile but if you have issues try changing the first layer and/or outer wall line width a few mm.
