Bambu Labs Silica Gel Box

A silica gel box with a temp/humidity sensor slot I intend on using in my gun safe. Wanted something that held a lot so I didn't have to dry it out very often. 

 

The temp/humidity sensor has a 25deg offset that seems to be the normal for all the ones I have seen on amazon. Box holds little over 1lb of silica gel beads. The holes are 1.5mm so any bead over that should work fine. The box is 125mm X, 125mm Y, 75mm Z. 

 

If only using PLA support interface I had to use a small plastic spatula to remove all the interface layers on the bottom of the lid, but it comes off fine. PETG support interface should make for a seamless support removal. I had to position the lid off the build plate like I did since having it to close to the bed caused the support material to bond and not separate at all, probably due to the bed temp. 

 

The lid locks in place really good even with 1lb of silica in the box I can turn it upside down without it spilling out. To remove the lid after its on you have to bend the front up just a little to clear the tab the locks it.
