Description

I designed this version because some of you requested a filament cleaning part that does not use a magnet to bind.

 

Key Improvements

  • Enhanced Usability: Optimized geometry for smoother filament travel.

⚠️ Critical: PTFE Tube Specifications

First, I want to sincerely thank you for supporting this design! To ensure flawless operation, please follow this guideline:

  • Required Length: Exactly 50 mm (5 cm).
  • Important: Please double-check the length before installation. If the PTFE tube is longer than 50 mm, it may interfere with the filament intake (guide head), which can lead to filament jams or spool rotation issues.

  • Version 2.0: Requires 16x Magnets ($6 \times 2$ mm).

Print Recommendations & Assembly

  • Material: To ensure long-term durability and heat resistance, it is highly recommended to print this with PETG.
  • Filament Cleaning: Fill the internal cavity with cotton or sponge material to act as a filament cleaner/lubricator.

     

  •  

  • It is recommended to use a PTFE tube with a length of 5cm
  • No need Magnet

     

     

  • Fill it with cotton or with sponge material
