LEGOs Brick Tissue Box

I originally searched for a tissue box cover and first printed this model. Unfortunately, the box was too small for my needs, and the opening was too narrow, making it difficult to pull out tissues without tearing them. This inspired me to design my own box. After a lot of experimenting and using up 1kg of filament, I finally arrived at the perfect design that met all my requirements.

This Brick-style tissue box cover combines functionality with a sleek and playful design! Featuring a clever slide mechanism, the lid opens and closes effortlessly while maintaining a seamless, unified appearance when shut.

 

 

The box is designed to fit most tissue boxes commonly available in Germany, with generous dimensions of up to 230mm in length, 115mm in width, and 80mm in depth. Its spacious interior and large opening make it easy to pull tissues out smoothly, without any hassle. Whether for personal use or as a thoughtful and unique gift, this tissue box cover is both practical and visually appealing!

 

 

Note: When adjusting the ironing settings for the lid, keep in mind that the best settings may vary depending on your material and printer. Please experiment to find what works best for you to achieve the smoothest possible surface.

For me, using eSun PLA+ with the following settings worked perfectly:

 

Ironing speed: 150mm/s,

Ironing flow: 38%

Ironing line spacing: 0.2
