Know Your Infill board game

A simple board game for social occasions with like-minded 3d printing enthusiasts.
It requires the players to learn the different infill patterns to master.
There are 12 cubes with different infill patterns and 1 board game.

The game is played by placing all the cubes in the correct slots on the game board.
Use some strips of colored filament to represent different players.
But be careful, a couple of the infill patterns look similar and are there to make the game harder.
The winning conditions of the game depend on which game mode you play.

Game Modes & Rules

Points

Point board can be used for all game modes.
If more than 2 players are participating, different colored filaments can be used for players.
The Point board has 20 slots in total.
Players agree beforehand if points are used and how much they are worth.
Example: 1 point can represent winning a round, or 1 point per correct cube.

2 player games is good for round based points, so first to ten or similar.

 

Time Trial

1-5 players.
Each player takes a turn completing the full puzzle, competing for the fastest time.
For each incorrect placed cube, deduct a given agreed punishment time/point

 

Count-down

1-5 players.

Players agree on a set amount of time to solve the puzzle.
The fastest player wins.

Elimination

3+ players.

Players take turns completing the board.
The player with the slowest time and/or most mistakes is eliminated from the game.
The remaining players start a new round and repeat the same as first round.
The winning player is the last person left in the game.
