A-10 Warthog

A-10 Warthog scale model. Approximately 24" long.

.16 mm layer height for all parts, except those with layer height modifiers 

Most parts are joined with cyanoacrylate glue. Some hand fitted and sanding will be required. This is a more advanced build project. The GAU-8 Avenger 30mm cannon is connected with a 693ZZ bearing which is pressed into a sleeve. The barrel is then glue to the inner race of the bearing. 

The front landing gear wheel is held in place with a piece of the black filament, heated and flattened with a lighter. 

The balance of the plane i snot correct for the the model to sit on the landing gears by itself. My next modification will be removing material inside the front section to add counterweights (old AA batteries).
