Description
TThis is a headphone holder with integrated storage bins. Each bin is identical, allowing them to be easily swapped. Each bin also has spots for magnets at the back, so they slot into place with a satisfying click. The holder is modular, meaning it can be as short as two units tall or as tall as you like!
There are three different headphone unit models:
There are spots for six magnets on the dovetail sections of the headphone units, enabling assembly without glue. The magnets hold the units together very securely! However, if you prefer, the sections can be glued together for a permanent configuration.
I’ve included notes for each model detailing the correct printing settings. The process is straightforward, requiring supports only for the base unit on the threads. I printed everything at 0.16mm layer height, but you could probably use 0.2mm for most parts.
The bins don’t need to be magnetized if you prefer not to. Personally, I use mine without magnets on the bins.
The magnets are 5mm x 2mm—small but plenty strong for this project. Just be careful about their orientation during assembly; I learned that lesson the hard way more than once!
Boost MeThis is my first exclusive model, and I put a lot of work into it, so if you like it, please leave a rating or a boost. Anything is greatly appreciated!
