Elf on the shelf - Hijinx #4 - Elf Leisure

Hijinx is back but it isn't always about chaos and shenanigans. Elves need to kick back and relax from time to time even in the busiest of seasons.

 

You are going to love this tiny but fully functional puzzle. It looks like it shouldn't work but it does. I figured it out by accident when I got the scaling all wrong on another puzzle project but it was a big accidental win for all of the elves out there.

 

About the print:

Fast print. It is 3 colors but I set it up on my A1 mini that doesn't have AMS so what you need to do is:

Start with Black (or whatever your base is)

It will pause at layer 7 for you to switch to green (or whatever color you want the tree to be)

It will pause at layer 10 for you to switch to yellow (or whatever color you want the star to be)

 

Updated 12/22/2024:Updated profile to Arachne wall generation for better puzzle separation off the plate.  Make sure to let it cool prior to trying to disassemble.

 

Updated 12/13/25: New profile added for anyone still having problems to separate the pieces. there are 3 separate sizes on the same plate to choose from.
