Description
Celebrate the holidays with your very own traditional Bird of Prey Christmas Ornament!
According to legend, an evil whaling ship was hunting Humpback Whales in the northern Pacific Ocean sometime in the 1980s. Finding a pair of these wondrous creatures, the whalers fired their harpoon only to see it stop in mid air and fall harmlessly into the sea. As these villainous whalers pondered what this could mean, a massive mystical Bird of Prey appeared over the whales, sending the impotent whaling ship scrambling. To this day, would be whaling ships keep a weary eye towards any ripple in the air, fearing the wrath of the whale's avian protector.
The ornament prints in two parts and by default is a single color (I painted the one you see in the picture) but those with an AMS can easily add their desired colors.
There is a 1mm hole in the top for you to glue a paper clip, or other hook device, to allow the ornament to be placed on a tree. I recommend a wire of some sort because I was not able to get the balance correct to allow for only a string (after printing 7 different models I gave up and added the hole for a wire).
