Duplo Train Track - Flexible

My grandsons enjoy playing with their Duplo train. They did get bored with the limited track set that came with the train. I designed and printed several different track options that expand their set to further their enjoyment and increase their creativity. My grandsons also have difficulty mastering the geometries of the tracks and most of the time the tracks don't align properly. I designed this flexible track to help compensate for the misalignment.  This model is completely Duplo brick compatible. It can be used for custom curves, rises to match changes in floor such as climbing up onto carpet, jogs in track direction or whatever your creative mind can conjure up. As a warning, the track can adjust to more than what the train is capable of navigating.

 

This is a one-color design that doesn't require an AMS. I used a small amount of Normal Supports at the end posts with style set to Snug and set to build plate only. I used 0.2mm layer thickness and 5 wall loops to keep the connecting posts strong.
