Description
Don't you hate it when you remove a tool from your cleat wall and the holder falls off? I got tired of this issue and came up with a solution that works great. I created 3d printed clips for a French Cleat wall that is designed to keep the clips/hooks in place. The cleat strips should be made from 2 ¼" strips of 12mm or ½" plywood with a 45 degree cut on the top edge and a 10 degree cut on the bottom. This allows the 3d printed clips to “snap” onto the cleat and not come off every time you remove a tool. The hole in the model accepts a 1/4" dowel. I usually print these in PETG and they work great but PLA works well also but is less flexible so you need to hit them with a soft hammer to snap them in place.
