Smart tag 2 magnetic case

I designed a magnetic case intended for Smart Tag 2 locators. The lid fits extremely tightly on the housing, so I also drew a notch on the housing for easier opening. tight tolerances are required to prevent water from entering the housing. The housing cover is designed in such a way that the screws that hold the cover are submerged and flush with the entire assembly.

Printing:

15-20% infill, 0.2mm layer, supports needed only at the lid.

for the assembly you will need:

2x black hex screw 10mm (3/8) M3

2x heat-set insert M3

4x strong neodymium magnets 10x2 (in mm)

- some super glue

Use super glue to attach the magnets to the prepared openings on the case. Using a suitable tool, push the threaded inserts into the two holes in the housing.
