Hi everyone,

 

I finally finished my newest project. A fanmade version of another legendary engine - the 2JZ (Supra MK4).

 

Before I tell you more about it, i have to add here that I don't want to hurt any copyright terms with sharing this model, so commercial use is strictly prohibited! Selling the file or printed model is NOT allowed and please respect that if you want to see more projects like this.

 

Modeling the engine was very difficult and took me again (like the RB26 before) about 50 hours to have just a printable model. It's probably not 100% true to scale, but I think the 2JZ i still recognizable very well and this is the stock version. As mentioning the scale, this should be something about 1:6 scale. 

The parts have a tight fit depending on the filament manufacturer you use, but it should work out well. If you are struggling with the pins, just remove them. I added them just to make sure the position of the mounted part is right. Otherwise a good fitment of the other parts is not guaranteed, so please have that in mind. I've also attached an assembly guide to make the assembly as easy as I can. If you are still struggling, just let me know and I'll help you out. The assembly guide shows a version with separated parts, but I've added a solid one also, if you want to print it in one piece.

The valve cover is in a separate print profile because of using variable layer heights and normal support instead of tree support.
