First Thks to Zanfar and Julien_DaCosta for the initial designs...
...this toy train somehow became the my standard present for the new born of my friends.
I finally took some time and re-designed some of the parts for better fit and added some of my own blocks incl. passengers allowing for dual print (I color the head in a different color).

..just added a sphere shape with a naming option in the FreCAD model

the car needs support, all the others can be printed without....
...rafts are just needed for the axle since you have to print it standing. Also the infill of the axle should be 100% since they tend to snap.
Infill of all the other parts at least 50% and 3 wall lines since the kids tend to sometimes throw the parts around.
FreeCAD
Also if you can model in FreeCAD, I added the model which will allow you to customize some of the blocks with names, to make the train more personal.
