V3 Series - Impossible Passthrough Cone - Mk 2

Note: AMS Profiles work without AMS - It will only print the one color

 

The Design

 

Here's an updated version of the Vortex Thread / Impossible Cone for the V3 Series

 

This one is slightly shorted at 72mm and slightly wider at 42mm giving it a better feel than the original

 

Clearances are optimized and the external details add to it's appeal. Note: The cone dimensions are different to other v3 Cones I've made

 

Dimensions are approximately: 42mm x 42mm x 72mm

Printing

 

3 Print Profiles from me:

 

Single Color normal printing

Single Color Print in place

Two Colour, parts print on one plate sequentially

 

Standard settings should work fine to slice. Please ensure filament is relatively dry (wet filament seems to print slightly larger)

 

Once printed let the build plate cool before trying to remove.
