Replacement for Doshisha HS-19M ice freezing cups for their manual and electric shave ice machines.   They can be hard to find or expensive… so I made an easily printed copy.

Printed in PETG - do not print in something not food safe or not strong enough to resist leaking and bursting in freezing temperatures.

Recommend to carefully check for any loose plastic in the cup before filling and using.  In the test print there were a couple little nubs left over - so remove that stuff lest it ends up ground into your zesty sno-cone.

Do not recommend printing in quality lower than .16mm layers/optimal.  Leaks may occur for porous prints.  Be sure to test out with water first.   If you're not sure, put it in another container just in case it springs a leak.

Do not fill over the inner line in the cup.  As water expands it needs the headroom to keep from swelling the cup.  The cap can be a little fiddly… but it needs to be a little tall to prevent swelling.

Test printed successfully with no glue on Bambu Cool Supertack plate, and Biqu CryoGrip glacier (using supertack settings) at 70°C.  Assuming the textured PEI plates will work fine with whatever magical combination of glue stick and hairspray you use.

NOTE that the ice when frozen doesn't slide out as easily as the original ones due to the layer lines inside the cup.  I suggest leaving them out in room temperature for 15-30 minutes, then the ice will slide out easily.
