Dryer Exhaust Vent Cover Plate

Drywall around dryer exhaust vent hose was cut much larger than it should have been to have a clean finished look. This also allowed drafts and potential bugs a space to enter the home. Could not find a “cover” this size and didn't want to do any drywall work to clean this up. Created a simple plate cover to go around the dryer vent hose. Roughly 8 inches square and the center hole is roughly 4.5 inches. Recessed screw holes to secure to the drywall. No need to mount to studs as this doesn't weigh much and is mostly cosmetic.

No supports needed. Printed in PLA without any issues. Has been installed for a while and no sign of any issues from “heat” from the dryer or the hose itself. If you have any concerns, can print in a warmer tolerant material such as PETG or ABS.
