Phone Lanyard, Handykette

I designed this in 2022 when the original adapter for attaching a lanyard to the cell phone broke.

I did several iterations until I got to this final design.

I started with 0.4mm everywhere, then increased to 0.6mm to get a better layer bond without affecting the assembly.

Finally, I reinforced the stressed areas.

Meanwhile, I tuned the print profile with the right amount of walls for stability and the right position for the seams.

 

I made very good experience with TPU 95A.

I expect also good results with Bambu TPU for AMS or PP.

 

Use at own risk. Be careful with material selection and print quality.

I definitely cannot recommend PLA. PETG is slightly better, but will probably also break easily.
