linear rail cleaning tool for x1c p1s

people were asking me design a linear rail cleaning tool after they saw my leadscrew tool

but to be honest , i don't think cleaning linear rail is hard enough to be needed a special tool for it

 

but since I have no better things to do, let's go for it

 

and….yeah…..

I was so wrong….

 

 

I did clean my rail two days ago….

 

after you done your cleaning

use a clean paper towel apply a light coat of lubricant oil on it

 that's all :)

I was having hard time to keep my wipe in place, so I add two little wing to hold it

 

after you print it out, you will need to push it in to release those two little wing

 

 

it shouldn't be too hard to break apart,

but there are two different clearance print profile 

 

if you couldn't get 0.25mm clearance working

use the one with 0.35mm clearance 

 

I'll do it this way from now on

just choose one fits your printer :)
