Boost MeIf you like what you printed, a boost would be much appreciated and goes towards me designing, testing and posting new models for everyone to enjoy :)
I had some friends reach out requesting some Year of the Snake paper cuttings and thought it would be nice to share the models with the community.
Each one is in their own profile, so if you only want the one, it's right there ready to go :)
- Printed in Bambu Lab Matte Scarlet Red
There are a few important notes I need to state:
- Ensure your bed is CLEAN, this can't be stressed anymore particularly with these models. There are a lot of intricate details on these that are very fine, any small amount of oils from your hands on the plate will hinder these prints! Please do not rate this 1 star because you experienced bad bed adhesion. That is nothing to do with the model and more to do with lack of cleaning.
- Ensure your filament is DRY, this is just as important, again for the finer details - bubbling wet filament will not print these anywhere as good as they can be versus dry filament.
- Ensure your plate is COOL before attempting to remove the print. The machine prints with a warm bed for a reason - great adhesion! So trying to remove a warm print from a warm plate can result in broken prints, frustration and wasted time. If you want to err on the side of caution, placing your print and plate in the freezer can asssist with print removal :)
My prints came off nicely, albeit while taking my time because of the small details but the end result is amazing and I am proud of how the printer did this with the 0.4 nozzle. 0.2mm nozzle I can only imagine will make these even better detailed!
Happy New Year to all, wishing you all a great year ahead and many successful prints!
