Neutrik Mounting Helper

A mounting aid for Neutrik D-Size connectors, designed for use with heat inserts instead of nut plates.

I was recently assembling some rack panels with Neutrik D-Size connectors using the nut plate for M3 nuts (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4645638) as an installation aid.

I noticed after a few times mounting and changing connectors between different panels, the nuts start to spin and no longer hold in place with the nuts falling out of the holder during installation.

Compatibility:

• M3 short inserts (*)
• Standard M3 inserts (*)

Material recommendation:

• PLA (Bambu Matte Black) works well for most indoor applications.
• PETG for extra durability.
• ABS/ASA for high heat resistance (ensure good bed adhesion).
