Gift Card Holder - Gift Box Edition

Don't give a boring gift card straight off the shelf..

Jazz up your gift giving in a fun and unique Gift Box themed Gift Card Holder, the PERFECT gift for your loved ones! 

 

Designed for standard Gift Cards with these Dimensions: 

• Width: 85.60 mm (3.375 inches)
• Height: 53.98 mm (2.125 inches)
• Thickness: 0.76 mm (0.03 inches)

This should be the standard in most countries. If there are other common dimensions required, please let me know.

 

Note many newer Gift Cards no longer have a physical card attached, the backing is the card.

For this reason I have also created another Tall version to fit these newer style “Gift Cards”.

All sections print face-down on the build plate, for this reason I highly recommend the Textured PEI Plate (Not Required) or other effect plate as it gives a really nice sparkle finish. 

 

Both versions offer 3 alternate Holder designs as well as 3 different Ribbon/Bow designs.

Note for the Polka dot versions you will find a separate object called "Dots" so you can customize the colour of the base and dots separately.

 

For the Personalized Initials version you can edit the text inside of Bambu Studio to whatever you like.

Simply right-click on the object and choose “Edit Text”. Just double check the placement and rotation of the text is in the desired position.

 

 

All parts click together and are interchangeable so you can find the perfect combination.

To remove the ribbon from the holder I recommend pushing the pins from behind so they don't snap off inside the Holder.

 

Filaments I used in the example images were:

• Bambu Matte - Marine Blue
• Bambu Matte - Jade White
• Bambu Matte - Lemon Yellow
• Bambu Matte - Charcoal

Tolerances were tested on my X1C in Bambu Matte Pla, Standard Bambu PLA, ESUN PLA+. With all 3 of these they slide easily, parts snap into place and there is a satisfying “Click" when closing.

 

If feels a little tight at first simply pull in and out several times over and I found it slides smoother afterwards.
