Description

A decorative model of a 3.5" floppy drive that can be used with credit card sized cards, such as RFID cards, NFC cards or even a credit card.

 

The model includes 4 different springs of various strength, which should be sufficient to finding a satisfactory eject click for your specific filament.

 

The model does NOT include room for RFID or NFC hardware.

I am working on a different disk drive model with room for NFC hardware and with a different mechanism closer to an original 3.5" drive load and eject mechanism.

 

Make sure to add support to the Base - and unless you want to sand down the Spring-clamp, set the layer height as low as possible (0.16mm is OK, but lower would be better)

 

The model pictures should be enough to make sure you put everything together the right way, so make sure to check them out after printing.
