George Washington Resigning his Commission

This is a modification of the 3D scan of the statute Washington Resigning His Commission at the Smithsonian Museum. The original scan was made by Scan the World.

I modified this by changing the infill to gyroid and modified how the top layers print to help remove stratified circles that were in the original 3D scan uploaded. This is an excellent representation of the statue! I printed mine in a grey PLA, but the original statute was made out of a painted bronze over plaster. I look forward to printing this one in a bronze PLA silk if I can ever find some.
