Recipe for Squid Game Cookies
Ingredients (for one cookie):
- Water: just enough to dissolve the sugar
- Sugar: 40 g (about 3 tablespoons)
- Baking soda: 1/8 teaspoon
Instructions:
- Prepare the utensils:
- Grease the bottom of a pan or a metal bowl that will be used to flatten the mixture later.
- Grease the mold you want to use to create the design on the cookie.
- Prepare the caramel:
- In a non-stick pan, dissolve the sugar with a small amount of water, just enough to moisten it, over low heat to avoid crystallization.
- Stir continuously until you achieve a smooth and caramelized mixture, with a golden hue.
- Add the baking soda:
- Remove the pan from the heat and add the baking soda.
- Stir vigorously until the mixture becomes smooth and slightly frothy.
- Form the cookie:
- Immediately pour the mixture onto a sheet of parchment paper, creating a disk about 5-6 cm in diameter.
- Wait 30 seconds to 1 minute, until the mixture starts to slightly harden but is still workable.
- Using the prepared pan or bowl, gently press the mixture to achieve a thickness of about 3 mm.
- Create the design:
- Quickly press the chosen mold into the center of the cookie, pushing it all the way through and remove the mold.
- Allow the cookie to cool completely before handling it.
Tips:
- It’s best to make one cookie at a time, as the caramel hardens quickly.
- To achieve the best results, ensure all utensils are ready and well-greased before starting.
And that’s it: your Squid Game cookies are ready! Have fun!
