Description
Since i designed and printed the first single Duct Adapter i've been using it for a few years now without any issues, but my workshop grew and i needed to install another air extraction path to a different laser machine.
Boost MeIf you feel like this model helped you consider giving me a boost!
So i went on and designed another version of my first popular model on Fusion 360.
Dual sides are 4" / 100mm Outer diameter
Single side is 6" / 150mm Outer diameter or 4" / 100mm depending on the model you chose.
I would advise using a clamp, zipties or something to secure the duct in place and minimize any air leaks that can occur. depending on the tolerances of your machine and the duct itself it can be a snug fit or not.
In my case i just use it directly from the printer not needed to use any clamping system.
NOTE: IT WAS DESIGNED WITH 0.5mm Tolerance to accomodate difference tolerances of other fittings, if you find it too loose i suggest running 1 or 2 layers of paper masking tape on the fitting you are connecting to ensure a tight and leak free connection and also to prevent scrapping damage onto your other fittings.
it with the 6" side directly onto the inline fan (0 leaks) and the 4" side to the tubing (0 leaks) without needing to use clamps.
