Hello
Today i present to you this LED tube holder for any length of tube with a t8 end. This model uses a few components other than just plastic such as:
The copper is to be cut into around 0.5 x 3-4cm Long strips and placed inside the outlet in such a way that it always wants to bend inwards and touch the middle. As this is very much a diy solution i didn't really put a lot of thought into securing the copper in place. Which is why i melted some left over filament around where the copper exits at the bottom to secure it in place, some kind of glue will also work.
You only need the heated inserts for the middle where the socket is mounted. And you only need 2 screws to keep the whole thing mounted on the wall or shelf thing. You will need patience for finding the correct distance to secure the 2 parts but that's the payoff for having a led tube mount for any length.
There is not a lot of place inside the model for the wiring but there is enough so good luck fitting everything inside. As shown in the pictures, it is possible but it is also fiddley.
Total cost for a pair of these with all components is less than 10kr / $1
