IKEA Vidga Style Connector

I have four IKEA Vidga three track rails that are connected together.  Since the walls are not 100% square they are misaligned just enough to make the sliders get stuck. I only use one of the tracks and decided to create connectors for the other two. I created these connectors after seeing similar ones for the single track. Since the three track Vidga has different track dimensions the others won't work.

You will need the following:

M3 x 10mm machine screw - 2 per connector

M3 Hex nut - 2 per connector

To install

If already installed to you celling and you have access remove the end cap using a 3mm hex key.

Insert the hex nut to the back of the connector.

Screw in the M3 screw until it starts threading into the hex nut but not past the bottom of the connector.

when you've completed the above slide in one connector per track per joint into the track.

Align your connectors to be centered on every joint and tighten the now set screw in place.

This should pull the tracks to allow for smooth operation.
