Description

This model is a Spiral Wind Blade, applied in the real world for wind power generation. Its unique blade design allows it to rotate easily even in low wind speed environments, enabling the generator to start operating and produce electricity.

This uploaded version is the second iteration after my practical testing, improving the issue of blade rotation in the initial version. In the first version, the blades needed to be clipped into the frame, but the high friction made it difficult for the blades to rotate. Therefore, in the second version, the clip structure was removed, and the blades are now placed directly to ensure smooth rotation. However, please note that if the entire model tips over, the blades will separate from the base, so caution is advised.

◆After printing is complete, there will be some small supports on the frame. Please carefully and thoroughly remove them, as any remaining supports may cause additional friction and negatively impact the blades' rotational efficiency.

◆The assembly of the frame and base works like a screw and nut; simply screw the frame into the base. When screwing in, ensure you grip the cylindrical structure where the thread of the frame is located. Avoid gripping other, more fragile parts to prevent the frame from cracking.

2025/3/11 Update:
I have adjusted the support parameters and tested the actual printing results again. Compared to previous parameters, it is easier to remove the supports, and the detachment marks at the contact points between the parts and the supports have become more subtle and less noticeable.
