Packout Lid Keepers (48-22-8435)

Designed for the 48-22-8435 Packout Boxes. Helps to prevent lid from opening when case  is lifted without securing latches.

Required hardware:

2 - M3 x 25mm Socket Head 

2 - M3 x 20mm Socket Head

4 - M3 Nylock Nuts

4 - M3 Flat Washers (Optional)

Installation Instructions:

1. Fully insert the Keeper into the side of the handle
2. Using keeper as a guide, drill a 3mm hole through the first layer of the handle, this will only be a few mm thick, do not go further and pass through the other side of the handle
3. Remove Keeper
4. Insert M3 Nylock nuts into the recessed hex holes, followed by hot glue to secure them in
5. Reinsert Keeper once glue has dried
6. Place a washer on the 20mm M3 socket head and screw it to into the first hole (the furthest one from the case) till tight
7. Repeat in the other hole with the 25mm M3 socket head 
8. Repeat for the other keeper
