Consists of 2 different objects, which have multiple version.
Jormungandr braid coil
- Two model version, varying in degrees of twist and tilt of head.
- Printed vertically
- 2 layer raft for bed adhesion and support of first layers.
- Does not require any additional supports
- Recommendation: 0.12mm layer height or adaptive in Prusaslicer
- prints fine on 0.2mm set layer height, but loss of detail
Braid beads
- 6 variations, 4 different embossed patterns, 2 skeleton patterns
- No supports or raft required
- Pictures show raft, I just hadn't figured out yet how to only add raft to one object :P
- Skeleton version might need more thorough tweaking on print settings and further model tweaks to get cleaner prints.
- 0.12mm layer height or adaptive for better detail
Assets are thick enough to be scaleable in XY directions to make them thinner & longer.
All models were made by me, in Zbrush and Houdini. Printed with eSun cool white PLA+ at 215 C.
Rest of the settings were the basic Ender3 profile in Prusaslicer
