These planters were designed because
Boost MeThank you! I'd love to see some pictures of your makes!I needed a way to clear counter space and still be able to display some plants I have in my kitchen. After the first run of them I realized that I did not have a hole in them for drainage when watering, so I went ahead and corrected that already. On the backside there is a single hanger for a fastener of your choice. I made the hanger fairly large and able to handle a variety of fastener types. There are also 4 holes in the corners to allow installation of a 10x3mm magnet, allowing for mounting a refrigerator or other magnetic surface. I don't believe there is a need for all 4 magnets every time, I would use your best judgement on how much per weight of plant.
I printed in a PLA Basic, other filaments should work fine too. I am including profiles for a smooth finish and a fuzzy skin on the exterior. The sizes are as follows.
| X-Axis | Y-Axis | Z-Axis | Opening size | |
| Large | 150mm | 150mm | 78mm | 44mm |
| Medium | 105mm | 105mm | 55mm | 30mm |
| Small | 90mm | 90mm | 16mm | 17mm |
Let me know if you find any issues or have any questions. I hope you enjoy, thanks for checking out my model!
Edit: After plating in my own pots, i feel like air plants are the best fit. Anything requiring soil is a bit of a fight, granted I'm an amateur at pot planting. The succulents I went for needed me to add some supports to keep them from tipping forward too much until the roots get a chance to anchor themselves well. Watering is best done in the sink or a container, obviously it will make a mess on the wall if you don't.
