A1 Adjustable Camera Mount [v1]

This is a alternative factory camera mount for the Bambu A1. 

 

The new mount provides a better mounting location and angle to view your 3D print while it is in progress and hides all wiring. 

 

Installation Instructions

1. Download the files and select which camera mount you wish to use (one has a slightly better viewing angle, the other has more range). 
2. Print the files using PETG (preferred due to better flex on the ball joint) or PLA. 
3. Remove the supports.
4. Apply a very small amount of lubricant to the ball joint. 
5. Remove the “Bambu Labs A1” faceplate from your device and pop out the camera.
6. Insert the camera and thread the cable through the ball joint. 
7. Attach to your device. 

If you find there is any resistance in installing the mount itself, ensure you have removed the small supports from the face plates. The device is designed to be snug. 

 

Known Issues; low mount location can make viewing the first few layers difficult - you get the best viewing angle by rotating the camera slightly (this is useful if you just use the camera for print monitoring).
