Broken Somfy Badge Holder

Somfy home alarm broken badge holder.

I use my key set too frequently and eventually the badge metal holder got broken. I created a holder to allow the badge to still be placed together with the rest my keys.

Print suggestions:

The profile I suggest only add support on the keychain holder. This result in a slightly dirty print on the internal thread. I still proposed this profile as this flaw does not cause any issue to the closure of the cover nor to the aesthetics of the product.

If you prefer a clearer print you can switch to tree auto support and let bambu studio handle it.

Project History:

This project is quite old, I hesitated to share it as I was doubting on the robustness. It is now more than half a year I use it and I can then make a point on it.

Let's compare the original metal part with the model printed with PLA Matte Ivory white (I did not use petg but I guess shall be even more reliable)

From the following image you can see I was able to use quite a lot of the metal part within about 3 years of usage.
