Top & Launcher Toy (No Hardware!)

This has been a really fun little project. A bit of a nostalgia printed one one plate! I've been able to get about 2 minutes out of one launch with this top & launcher on a smooth counter top. 

 

No glue or hardware required!

 

 

 

 

 

Assembly-

 

 1) Once the print is finished, clean up the supports off of the launcher teeth

 

2) Snap the gear & launcher teeth together

3) Drop the gear & launcher teeth onto the center shaft/bolt in this orientation

4) Screw the assembly into the handle clockwise until snug. Make sure the launcher teeth still spin. If the launcher teeth hang up just loosen the bolt slightly.

 

 

Instructions for use. 

 

 1) Insert rip cord with the teeth facing the handle/gear & shaft assembly

 

2) Press the top against the teeth until the launcher teeth are in the top completely. It does not “lock” into place, the teeth simply hold it in place. It can take a couple tries to get used to.

 

3) Hold it over a smooth flat surface and then pull the rip cord!
