Unleash Good Fortune with a Bite of Modernity!
Boost MeI am aiming to create more unique models to share exclusively on Makerworld so please Boost Me so that I can carry on to make my models available to all for free on Makerworld. Thanks! In ancient China, during the Han dynasty, red packets filled with coins inscribed with auspicious words were used to ward against sickness and death. The tradition evolved into a symbol of good luck, prosperity, and respect, especially for elders and children.
During the Qing dynasty, these red packets evolved into envelopes thanks to improvements in printing technology. These packets have remained largely unchanged, until now…
Now, experience this timeless tradition with a modern twist! This red packet boasts a striking snake skin texture which is my own design, to commemorate the year of the snake.
Not just another red packet, this red packet is a work of art. Its intricate texture, inspired by nature's own artistry, adds a layer of depth and sophistication.
Celebrate Chinese New Year in style with this modern interpretation of a classic tradition. Share the good fortune and be remembered as the family relative with the coolest red packets this Chinese New Year.
PRINTING TIPS
It's CRITICAL to let it cool before removing from print plate. Removing it while still warm will result in the red packet warping. No one wants to receive a bent red packet at Chinese New Year.
Once cooled and removed, it can be easily folded along the fold lines to form your red packet. I printed it using Bambu PLA Matte in Orange and I didn't need to re-heat it on the heated bed.
