Eickhorn SEK S.E.K. Knife Handle Messergriff

Hello Makers,

this is a printable handle for the Eickhorn SEK knife series.

Since the standard handle is quite flat, I designed a wider handle for it. This way it fits better in my hand. You can still store it safely in the knife sheath. In the photos I printed the large handle with the fuzzy skin option in the slicer. 

I made two versions:

1. Wider version
2. Narrow version with integrated grip pattern

Material:

I recommend printing it in ABS, ASA, Nylon or PC. Also possible with carbon fiber. I used Prusament PCCF.

You need also 4 screws. These have to be 9mm long in total for the big handle. Countersunk head M3. I still had some 30mm in stock and simply shortened them to fit.

 

Print settings:

• 4 perimeters
• 100% infill
• No supports
• No Brim
• Fuzzy Skin is great for that ;)
• Fuzzy skin: only Outside walls.
• Fuzzy skin thickness: 0.3mm
• Fuzzy skin point distance: 0.6mm 

I have added step files and the F3d project file. This will make it easy for you if you want to make a remix.
