Large Royal Shield/Royal Guard's Shield: Legend Of Zelda, Breath Of The Wild

This is my small replica of the Royal Shield/Royal Guard's Shield from The Legend of Zelda, Breath of the Wild. You can either print it in two parts, meaning that no supports are required, or you can print the whole thing in one piece. There is a back panel which gives it strength and allows you to attach a pin so that you can put the shield on a bag/accessory. If you are going to glue it together like I did, I highly recommend using an epoxy to make it solid and strong. I modelled it using reference images so it isn't a perfect replica. The Process: I printed out the two halves and the back panel in a white PLA filament. I then gave the edges a rough sanding and used epoxy to glue everything together. I then sanded the shields again, primed them and gave them a base coat of paint. I then handpainted all of the embellishments and the crest. I also gave it a coat of polyurethane just to seal and protect the paint work. My last step was to epoxy on the pins that are linked below so I could attach them to my bag.
