“Sea Ghost” Modular tabletop ship from the Dnd book “Ghosts of Saltmarsh”

Why and how:The last few months during the lockdown I’ve used my time to create a 3D model of the “Sea Ghost” ship from the D&D adventure book “Ghosts of Saltmarsh”. While I couldn’t play any D&D with my friends, I loved the idea of having the ship from the book in real life. So that after the lockdown, once me and my friends can play D&D again, we will have this awesome ship on the table.  To challenge myself I left behind my trusted software and switched to learn Blender for the first time. After 40+ hours of modeling and learning I recreated the “Sea Ghost” in 3D based on the blueprints from the book. The scale of the ship represents one square to be 1 inch, additionally it's fully modular meaning you have easy access to every floor. This is great for visualisation of the ships plan and recreation of battles on the ship.  With my love for D&D and the joy I got while making and painting the ship I wanted to grant the files for everyone to have so that they can experience the same joy as I did! If you really enjoy the hard work I’ve put into, a contribution to further projects is always welcome ;) The Print: I modeled this ship with the thought ”I don't want to use any supports”, therefore this model doesn't need any support!  At 100% the full size is 456x135mm and on a 115% scale it is 492x155mm.   Important! If you want to use this ship with your own mini’s I recommend to set the scale of the model to 110-115%. Every square equals 1 inch, but keep in mind that the walls and groove are on the same square. So at a 100% scale it's hard to place mini’s in the narrow corridors. Every floor is split up in two pieces so it will fit on at most common printers. I have a big printer so I can use a scale of 115% and I love it!  FOR PERSONAL USE ONLY.
