Modular Wind Turbine Generator Kit

A modular kit for building direct-on-motor wind power. 1w per module. (In the demo unit pictured, it's two units joined together). You can build just one module, or join an indefinite amount of them together in any planar direction to create as big a wind farm as you want. This thing is entirely 3d printed except for the motor, the bolts securing it to the motor mount, and obviously the wiring and charging hardware. The turbine fan is a single piece 3d print and the largest print object, and fits on a 20cm x 20cm print bed. For the first module, it will require:- 8x OuterPeg- 4x InnerPeg- 8x PegCoupler- 1x TurbineFan- 1x MotorMount Every module connected after that will require a different amount of OuterPegs and PegCouplers depending on how many sides it attaches to. InnerPegs and OuterPegs are different lengths, so make sure you don't mix 'em up! Print settings: - TurbineFan: 10% infill with supports- InnerPeg & OuterPeg: 100% infill, no supports- PegCoupler: 20% infill, no supports- MotorMount: 100% infill, no supportsFor the motor, you need a Hilitand 24v3500rpm 31ZY motor (linked below). You'll also need 4x M3 16mm machine screws to secure it to the motor mount (also linked below). Snap all the pegs in place as pictured in the photo, including the center motor mount. Then, use the machine screws to secure the motor inside. Then, simply push the turbine onto the motor shaft. Other than the electrical wiring side of things, it's that easy to build this thing. (Consider additional outer frame supports for larger module counts) Should produce about 1w per module in a strong wind (approximately 4v at 250 mA), maybe more in more severe winds.
