Cat mage - Keeper of the scroll

He can't get rid of it, he can't read it, it always reappears no matter how he disposes of it. The dang thing doesn't even catch fire! He travels taking odd jobs, endlessly studying his latest chosen method of freeing himself from it. He'll do absolutely anything it takes to get rid of this damned scroll!
