Arrow Slingshot

This is a powerful little slingshot that fires homemade arrows. It is made out of mostly printed dplastic, but has a square wooden dowel underneath the barrelto increase strength. It uses office rubber bands for the trigger mechanism, and it uses cut up therapy bands for the elastic firing device. This slingshot is about 18 inches long and prints out in 6 pieces. I reccomend using infil of 50-75% for all parts so they hold up to firing. When i tested this it was surprisingly powerful. There are 4 pieces of therapy band (Thera Band Gold) on this slingshot and it can fire over 200 feet. In my yard i was able to hit a target from 150 ft away and the arrow stuck in. The arrows are made out of 1/4" dowel cut to 12 inches long. The fletching on the arrow is made out of simple packing tape. This slingshot is really fun. It can shoot the arrow clean trough an apple and even pierced a full can of soda. Have fun with this,but be safe. Enjoy!
