Nymph Untying Sandal at the Royal Academy, London

This sculpture is also known as Nymph at the Bath, or simply Nymph. The Sculptor John Gibson himself described it as a portrayal of "A nymph sitting, and whilst arranging her sandal, her attention is drawn off, which gives a momentary suspense to her occupation". The lifesize sculpture is of beautiful detail originally carved out of marble and was made in the 19th Century. This object is part of "Scan The World".
