Based on the already fearsome Hunchback IIC chassis, this variant was created with a Halloween-inspired look and close-range firepower. With the Inner Sphere beginning to push into Clan territory, Ghost Bear needed a design that could dominate the field while striking fear into the hearts of its opponents. The "Jack-O'-Lantern" was first deployed in limited engagements against Draconis Combine forces, where its glowing LEDs and "haunting" loadout created a supernatural effect on the battlefield. Tales of a “ghostly mech” spread quickly, earning it the name "Jack-O'-Lantern" among enemies. Although it was not mass-produced, it left a lasting impression and became a favorite for Ghost Bear warriors who valued its mix of intimidation and raw skirmishing power.
