Ring with Rolling Ball

For the Sinterit Lisa competition, I wanted to show a design I had that I cannot print on my FDM printers which would also highlight the capabilities of an SLS printer. This ring (size 8) features a ball that can roll around inside it. Printing jewelry with moving parts is not something I can do on my FDM printers because they lack detail and struggle to support something like this. The underside of balls in general do not come out as well on most of the FDM printers I have used. Furthermore, the thin features present in this design would not be printed in a sturdy manner on my printers. Side note: knowing the ring size of this ring (size 8 US) one can find the ratio between this and the desired ring size and then scale this accordingly. I would not recommend going below size 6.5 as the features can become too fragile.   I will replace the rendered image with a 3D printed one as soon as someone (hopefully me) prints it on the Sinterit Lisa
