Description
Bikers-Errant roam the land mounted atop mighty Gryphjaeger Engines, massive supersonic jetbikes based on long-forgotten technology that are already an engineering marvel by themselves, but have been further artistically enhanced, carefully adorned with the wailing faces characteristic of the Weeping Crusade. Driven by the same unquenchable thirst for vengeance than the r4est of their brothers, Bikers-Errant strap captured heretics to the prow of their bikes, the victim's agonising screams serving to fuel their hatred as they charge head-first into battle. This multi-part kit includes the files to print a full unit of Bikers-Errant:- 1x Gryphjaeger Jetbike core, with the rider's legs attached.- 1x Gryphjaeger Jetbike prow.- A choice between Bolt Organs and Rocket Pods as the jetbike weapons. These include slots for 2x3mm magnets so that they can be swapped at any point.- 3x unique "flying stands", which attach to the bikes through the tortured heretics manacles and straps, flowing scrolls, and censers dangling from chains. The multiple contact points makes them actually quite sturdier than traditional flying stands, and they fit in both 60mm round bases or 75x45mm oval bases. Because they are a completely separate part from the bike itself they should be entirely replaceable with other options if you prefer a different look.- 3x rider torsos, with the cables bent in ways that result in different poses.- 3x right arms holding the hand clutch in different positions.- 3x left arms with cavalry spears.- 1x ornate pauldron.- 3x slightly less ornate pauldrons.- 1x rider helmet with aviator-like goggles. While the kit includes parts for 3 entirely unique Bikers-Errant, the asymmetrical bits can be mirrored for a total of 6 quite different-looking unit members, with the flying stands in particular having a noticeable effect, as well as posing the spears differently. It is worth noting the arms also have 2x3mm magnet slots despite the kit having no options, mainly for consistency with other units in the Weeping Crusade range. This means you can use a plethora of weapons, torsos, helmets or pauldrons if you combine this kit with the others, which could be useful for more creative builds or simply for making characters. While it doesn't make much sense to magnetise the arms holding the handles, I actually did magnetise the spears for ease of transport. On a final note, I didn't end up making more bits for this unit because it was already extremely time consuming as it is. However I could consider it in the future, specially alternative flying stands without tortured heretics for those who prefer a milder style, as well as more weapon options for other game systems. If you would be interested in any of these (or other ideas you might have) please don't hesitate to say so in the comments, since I'm not sure of there's actually any demand for it. WARNING: make sure to glue the handlebars to the jetbike's core BEFORE the prow, otherwise it will be very hard for it to fit. EDIT: added a file that includes the bike's core without the legs and the handle without an arm attached, only available unsupported, for all the kitbashers out there.
